Meet Emma Rose & Miss Mabel
I began feeding Mabel a more health-conscious diet to combat her severely irritated skin.
Typical store-bought treats can have ingredients that trigger your pet’s issues such as itchy skin, tummy issues, or even bad breath. Often these treats are also higher in calories and can impact your dog’s daily caloric intake, leading to excessive weight gain.
For the same reason I would not consistently feed myself highly processed ingredients, I do not want my pet consuming treats that have been heavily processed.
What treat changed everything for your dogs?
Our dog’s favorite treat are the green-lipped mussels. Having two very active dogs, including a treat in their diet that acts as a natural joint support to improve their mobility has been a game changer in reducing achy joints and stiffness after a day of running and swimming!
What does being a Founding Pawtna mean to you?
Being a “Founding Pawtna” to me is to be a part of the wonderful start to promoting the true impacts that human-grade, limited-ingredient treats can have on your pet’s health and overall quality of life.
Expanding the idea that we don’t just have to feed our pet’s the bare minimum and can help heal our pet’s health issues through their diet the same way that we as humans would adjust our diets in response to our health needs. Being a “Founding pawtna” is more than just being an ambassador, we are representing the future standard of feeding

Meet Alexandria & Oakley
Hi!
I’m Alexandria, and this is my heart dog, Oakley – a 5-year-old Dalmatian/Staffie mix living his best life despite a rare brain disease called neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis (NCL).
He’s a total foodie, a professional cuddle bug, and the inspiration behind everything I do in animal advocacy.
How did Oakley’s diagnosis shape your view on pet wellness?
Oakley’s diagnosis with NCL completely changed the way I approached his care. I started researching everything – from ingredients to sourcing – because I wanted to give him the best possible quality of life. Nutrition became one of my biggest tools in helping him feel good, even on his hardest days.
What have you learned about reading ingredient labels?
That “natural” doesn’t always mean healthy. So many pet treats are packed with fillers and preservatives. I’ve learned to read every ingredient label like it’s second nature now.

Meet Claryssa & Enzo
Hi,
I’m Claryssa the human behind the lens and the leash- Enzos the face, I just follow his lead.
His favorite protein is anything rabbit, and he could play fetch for hours on end! We’re all about fun, enrichment and finding the best for my furry little nub!
How did breed research spark a deeper dive into nutrition?
When I first started researching the Doberman breed, I quickly realized they’re so much more than just a beautiful face. They’re also prone to several health conditions like DCM, vWD, Wobbler Syndrome, and hypothyroidism—just to name a few.
I dove deep into learning everything I could: the best diet for the breed, essential vitamins and minerals, and the role of supplements in preventative care. That journey opened my eyes to how many popular pet food brands—often found in major pet stores—are severely lacking in true nutrition. That was my turning point. If I’m investing in such an incredible dog, I owe it to them to support their health from the inside out. It all starts with what they eat every single day.
What’s Enzo’s favorite high-value treat?
I chose Epochal Paws first and foremost because it’s Latina-owned—and as a Latina myself, I’m proud to support and uplift my community. I truly value finding single-ingredient treats that are actually nutritious for my pup, Enzo.
Enzo’s favorite treat from Epochal Paws is definitely the beef liver! The moment he sees the bag, he immediately goes into a sit without even being asked—it’s hilarious and so fun to watch.
How are you inspiring other pet parents to feed with intention?
I’ve become even more intentional about what I give him—focusing on single-ingredient treats with real nutritional value and avoiding anything with unnecessary ingredients. It brings me peace knowing I’m supporting his health while still giving him something he enjoys.
I hope to inspire fellow pet parents who are just beginning to understand the importance of what their furry friends consume. I’m Sheina, and this is my golden boy Keanu aka Keke a lovable goofball with the sweetest heart. He’s always chasing shadows, sneaking snacks when no one’s looking, and somehow knows exactly when I need a cuddle. Life is just better with him by my side.
Most people don’t realize how harmful store-bought treats can be. They often contain low-quality ingredients, fillers, and preservatives — nothing like the clean simplicity of a single-ingredient treat. I wanted a better lifestyle for my Golden boy because he deserves it! That’s what led me to start learning about pet nutrition and making more intentional choices for his health.
Why do you support epochal paws?
As a mom, I’ve always wanted a healthier lifestyle for my family and that includes Keke. That’s why we’re obsessed with Epochal Paws and their one-ingredient treats! They’re better than anything store-bought, and I love that we’re supporting a small business with a big heart.
In our home, we avoid processed food, so it only makes sense that our fur babies get the same love and care. Healthy snacks = happy hearts.

Our current fave? Wild-caught sardines! They make Keke’s coat so shiny and healthy it’s giving luxury pup vibes.
When I feed Keke treats like these, I feel confident knowing I’m giving him real nutrition not fillers. It’s like saying, “I love you” with every bite.

I’m Kacie Jones-O’Connell, a certified dog trainer and founder of Pawrental Support.
My soul-dog Benny is a former street dog and the face of our pack — full of opinions, street smarts, and an undying love for dehydrated sardines.
I’m passionate about helping pet parents understand their dogs on a deeper level, and that starts with meeting their physical, emotional, and nutritional needs.
What does training have to do with nutrition?
On my journey to becoming a certified dog trainer, I quickly learned that a dog’s behavior is deeply connected to their overall health.
What we feed our dogs matters — not just for their bodies, but for their minds and behavior, too.
That’s why I chose Epochal Paws. Benny and I met Karla at Global Pet Expo and saw her mission in action — she doesn’t just talk the talk; she lives it.

Hey guys!
My name is Taylor and I run Ajax’s Instagram! We are an adventurous team located in Hawaii.
We love to run, paddle board, hit any beach, and hike any trail. Ajax is a 3 year old cattledog mix.
Why do you support epochal Paws?
We absolutely love Epochal paws because it is a family owned and operated company that ensures using healthy ingredients in their products.
I have always been very health conscious with Ajax making sure he eats the best food we can afford whether it be kibble, treats, freeze dried, or raw!
I have a huge passion in making sure Ajax is fed proper nutrition to ensure he can stay the most upbeat little man!
What inspired you to start sharing Ajax's journey online?
Ajax’s Instagram was started after I had a very big surgery that put me out of work and stuck at home.
It was a really hard period of time for us and my husband suggested I make an Instagram for Ajax to fill my time.
I ended up starting this Instagram last September and I'm overwhelmed by all the support we have had so fast. This community is amazing and I am so happy to continue to grow with it!
